Now I'm putting on my lavender scented mask, to relieve and calm myself after so many days duelling with exams! Phew! And I had a few pimple outbreaks thanks to the stupid exams, so I'd better take care of my skin now!
Today is a happy day, exams free and finally I get to meet darling :D
Thank you for the expensive surprise, I like it alot although its too expensive to accept.
Anyway, recently I'm so obsesed and distracted with the Olympics Games while studying. I've got Channel 601, 602, 603, 604, 605 and 606. 6 olympic channels to watch! And I've watched basketball, gymnastics, regatta, triathon, swimming marathon, table tennis, synchronised diving, synchronised swimming, swimming of course, softball?, badminton, athletics, weight lifting.
I dislike watching beach volleyball and soccer though. Soccer it's because it isn't the world cup or as exciting as the EPL -.- Beach volleyball, maybe influenced by the channel 8 show shown a few weeks ago? Or is it months?
I've come to appreciate this Singapore Team representative, Feng Tian Wei.
She has impressed me so far compared to Li Jia Wei! Her history is rather sad though, look here
http://tieba.baidu.com/f?kz=426895254
And also, she has the "want-to-win" attitude instead of the attitude Li Jia Wei is carrying. After the quarter-finals match with Zhang Yining, she was being interviewed and said that she hopes to get a medal at the next London Olympics. I hope that she gets what she want, and help Singapore to get another medal in the next coming 4 years :D
Another person to mention is Michael Phelps, he won freaking 8 gold (And that's super impressive! How can one person achieve so much success!?) Oh and I read a news report about him that he burns 10,000 calories an hour during practice compared to a normal adult who burns approximately 2000 calories +/- a day! The report mentioned what he ate for his meals, (which is ALOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT and probably much more then what you've thought as he consumed more carbohydrates than you ever think of).
Lastly, the person who gave me the deepest impression is probably Usain Bolt. He has cool gold shoes and he is funny. By the way, he's from Jamaica and broke the 100m and 200m race world record. Too bad olympic has copyrights currently, so no youtube video can show how "humourous" he was after he had won his gold medal.
Sorry for being a commentator here haha. I'm so excited and hyped out about the Olympics. Lastly, I want to show you this perfect-10 gymnastic player, Nadia Comaneci in the 1976 Olympics.
She is so perfect that when I compare her performance with the present performance now, now is nothing! (Although the current performances are tougher due to the more difficult moves)
Just look at her, she is so graceful and her ending flips to the ground are so confident and just, wonderful :D
I'm so excited for the next olympics, but is it too early now!? LOL.
