    Bloody post

I donated blood today. I'm a healthy girl hahahaha.

    Peace?
    Monday, January 28, 2008
Suddenly I realised I'm not such a pessimistic person after all.
I don't deserve it considering how fortunate I am.
Probably the past few entries were just "everyday" rant and those over-sensitive feelings that you know, human will experience.

Many politics going on, shan't elaborate further.

Anyway, my curls are really very short-lived.
It doesn't seemed to curl as much as it did one week ago! Maybe my head is too heavy so when I sleep, I flattened my wavy curls ._.
Hopefully it'll last over Chinese New Year if not I spend money in vain.

Projects are gone, exams are coming.
I need to knock some sense into myself to study instead of watching the addictive television.
Chinese New Year shopping is almost done (:

I finally bought jeans ok! I haven't worn one like ages ago.

    Some pictures taken during openhouse,
I borrowed Sue Ying's blouse. Credits to Justina for the pictures :D

    We are damn studious, man!

Not only studious, but talented too!

    Onigiri!
    Thursday, January 24, 2008

This 2nd post of the day is dedicated to my current obsession :

    ONIGIRI :)

I know this is random BUT!

I just love the taste, ingredients and shape of it. Its so cute and delicious.
It makes me happy after I eat it just like a second cure for chocolates haha.

    I love sushi too,
but ONIGIRI are just as yummy!!!!

    Ugly
This week I witnessed how ugly can people be, once again.

I realised I've been too lucky.
Too lucky to live in the beautiful & fairytale-like world in the past.
Too lucky to believe that everybody treats you the same as you treat them.

Such that when reality surfaces, I couldn't face them at all.

    Pessimist? Not at all.

This is basically just my two cents on people, now.

Human are not as believable, simple as what I've imagined them to be now.
Or, have I lost the trust in people now?

Probably, the happiest thing to me right now is my family and Sherwin.
They make me feel that I'm not alone.

Unless time will prove me wrong.

Meanwhile I'll still try to be happy on top of everything.

    Curls

    Hello people,
I have wavy curls now instead of straight & wavy hair. It's kind of funny up to date.
    Spot me!

    Fairly good mood :)

Open house was really an eye-opener.
I didn't know the school could be so filled with people. Could it be the advertising scheme from SPOP concert? The free Donut factory donuts? The free chocolate/strawberry milk given at the bus-stops? Wa, wa, wa. NP really spends alot of money on its open house.

The music blasting from each booth seemed to be fighting with the other booths "who has the loudest music", the people moving in and out, giving stares at you and the occasional "performances" in the middle of the atrium was quite tormenting if you stayed there for hours.

When Celeste and I went for S&W, we sat at the big steps in the stadium and it was very quiet and serene. Perfect. I like the way the wind blew gently at my face :)

However, we had a little bit of fun on Thursday looking at other CCA booths. I suggested going to Japanese Tsubassa booth and tried their costume.

Compare this costume to my secondary school's international friendship day yutaka.

Then compare it to my kindergarten's japanese dance. Picture is unclear because I took it from my handphone as I don't have a scanner.

    Bwahahahaa!

Back at our booth when somebody else is tending the booth,

    <3

    Thursday again.

Yes, I've finished my presentation successfully after rushing it through yesterday.

Glad that it went quite smoothly, and I didn't refer much to the cards while talking. What to do. I'm presenting one of my favourite country - Japan! Haha!

Later I would be performing in the student lounge with Klavierensemble for the CCA open house 3-3.45pm. Be sure to drop by if you are reading this post! If you haven't, then there will still be one tomorrow. I'll be tending the booth tomorrow at certain timings.

    RAWRRRRRRR.

Oh and I've found out the zodiac horse is the most unluckiest this year. Other zodiac include rabbit, chicken as well as mouse itself.

So people, if you're any of the above zodiac, please don't be offended when somebody irritate you. It may be due to the fact that they are one of the zodiac above :)

Try to talk less because you may offend somebody while talking.

Luckily my good friends and most people around me are in the zodiac of horse, so we offend each other and forget about our offence the next day. Am I right? Even my family of 5 has 2 people with the zodiac of horse, and 1 of the zodiac of rabbit.

Seems like many people are 犯太岁 this year.
I wish all of you luck :D

    Screwed up

My life is so damn screwed up.

    Everything.

    Edited: Just Kidding!! :)

    A boring Sunday
    Sunday, January 13, 2008
At least I get to have my beauty sleep. Although I'm still ugly but I slept for nearly 10 hours.

I had mentioned earlier on that I had a piano exchange with NYP.
The trip was worth it though. We played on the Yamaha grand piano which made my duet partner and I so nervous that we played wrongly at a part. Luckily the expression made up for it, if not I would have dug a hole in a ground and hid in it till the exchange was over.

I had some exposure to other people's style of playing. There was this guy who played moonlight sonata so loud and didn't even took a glance at the book. That was impressive despite some criticism.

I think I must really buck up because talent really isn't at my side.

    Perception
    Thursday, January 10, 2008
Out of the five days in the week,
Thursday is definitely the most tiring for me, which is unfortunately, today.

I'm blogging in the middle of business communications class .___.

Tomorrow I'll be skipping Japanese Tsubassa Club; again as there'll be a piano exchange with Nanyang Polytechnic. However, it will end late .__.

And Yio Chu Kang is damn freaking far from my house. I'm still figuring the fastest route to get home.
Hopefully the exchange will be a fruitful experience for gaining more exposure to music. :)

Edited: I realised there isn't any business communication class later in the afternoon as it's e-learning, so I went home and slept for two and a half hours. I'm feeling energetic now :)

Before Chinese New Year approaches, I better post up last year Christmas pictures haha.

This is the Christmas tree at Vivocity.

    Then, at Marina Square.

The diamond christmas tree displayed at Vivocity, by Swarovski.

The gorgeous christmas tree at the top storey at Vivocity, again.

My Christmas tree at home with bears, red flowers and teletubbies haha. The tree isn't very nice but I love christmas decorations :)

Closeup of my favourite teddy bear on my christmas tree.

Christmas feast consisting ham, eggs, fried chicken, fruit salad with white wine, totally sinful.

    My love

And this picture was taken yesterday. Notice Sook Chen is wearing 3 layer of clothes yet she still complains it's cold!

Something interesting happened yesterday though. I would like to share with you this story.

A has been very hostile towards B since last semester.
Therefore, B was irritated by A. C witnessed the event whereby A showed hostility to B and also felt that A wasn't a very good person.
So B & C figured out that the best solution is to ignore and avoid any communication with A in fear of stirring up any unwanted trouble.

However, something made B & C changed their view towards A.
While B & C were presenting, they didn't realise that they used permanent marker instead of whiteboard marker on the whiteboard.
So after class ends, B & C were frantically looking for whiteboard markers to trace the permanent marker markings.
Surprisingly, A helped B & C to borrow markers from other class.

    B & C were stunned.
A was definitely the last person in class that they expected help from.
Since then, B & C changed their perspective of view towards A.
And A seemed to be more friendly after that event.

    1st week of Term 2
    Friday, January 04, 2008
I can feel the stress building up the very first day school has reopened.

I had gotten back my microeconomics paper, the paper which I had the lowest confidence in and I thought I would fail it.
Surprisingly, I had passed. But I had just passed. I think I'm one of the lowest in class though!
I shall buck up for the final exam (:

Hopefully next week I will get back papers with astonishing results, LOL!
Shan't pin up so much hope in it in fear of more disappointment.

Then, projects and e-learning stuffs are stacking up like uno stackos.

I guess this applies to everyone as well, haha.

Today's volleyball session was very enjoyable. The coach was fun, and yes, it has changed again!
Celeste and I thought our skills has gone rusty after the 2 weeks break because we couldn't dig properly...

We still have to put up with school for about one and a half month more before the next holiday comes! Hahaha!

    As you can see

    My summary for 2007:

People whom I thought I can laugh with and talk to forever has changed. People aren't that perfect anymore. People whom I thought I can call them "best friend" forever has changed. On 2006, we were still "Oh you must contact me on XX days ok? We must meet every XXX days". Did it really happen?

Or, should I phrase it another way, did you even attempt to make yourself free on even 1 day?
I feel a strange sense of unfamiliarity with you now which was totally opposite from how I felt last time.

I really envy people who manage to keep in touch with their ex-school friends.

Anyway, my new friends are great :)
Celeste, Sook Chen and people from KE.
I just hope that history won't repeat itself but sadly, that's how realistic the world is. People come and go.

I'm not being sadistic or what here, but that's the ugly truth of how the world is.

This year has not been so well with me. Many unhappy incidents, and failures and bla bla bla.

    As for my dear,
true love never runs smooth and you know it.

Let's just hope 2008 will be a better year!

One of my new year resolution is to have more self-confidence, really.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR

    HAPPY NEW YEAR 2008!

I'm lazy to upload pictures in my phone (:
