    Hot!
    Saturday, May 24, 2008
One word to describe the weather these days - hot!

My mum and I finally decided to dip in the what seemed to be heavenly swimming pool just now during 7pm. Perfect timing, because the water was just nice!

    GSS is here!!! :D

Sherwin and I were discussing that we hate stores with "up to X% off"

For eg Levis, which is having "up to 50% off", so it may be only some of the items which are having the 50% off, then the rest will be only 10% or sometimes 20%.

And I hate it when all the nice things in the shop gets no discount whereas the more ugly things in the shop gets crazy discounts.

We prefer shops with "50% storewide sale".
That will make all customers happy, isn't it? :D

Put that aside, next week is e-learning week which means no school!
However, Saturday is my first common test - HRM which is supposed to start at 4pm!!

Isn't it weird having a test at 4pm; and on a Saturday? Arghhh!

To make myself feel better, at least projects are done .__. It was a total nightmare doing projects with not-so-cooperative team mates. I shan't waste my time complaining about them :D

    Live happy, people!

    Himono Onna; 干物女
    Sunday, May 18, 2008
Have I became a "himono onna, 干物女" as taken from "Hotaru no Hikari (a japanese drama)?

Dried-fish woman [himono onna - 干物女]: Himono onna (”dried-fish woman”) is an expression used in the movie Hotaru No Hikari to describe the main character, a woman in her 20s who has renounced the pursuit of romance. She spends her evenings reading manga and drinking at home alone, and she spends her weekends lazing around in bed. She’s a dried-fish woman.

Click the link below for a more detailed list to see if you're a himono onna (in chinese)
    http://luby8433.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!AB0BE3C91B0B518B!395.entry

I think other than the part "renounced the pursuit of romance", I think I'm pretty much one ._.

However, on the second thought, being a "himono onna" isn't so bad after all! Oops...!

    Blur or what?
    Monday, May 12, 2008
I thought I lost my FMGT notes. It's one whole chunk worth of a semester lecture notes and tutorials. It was very important to me because I wrote my tutorials and notes all over it.

As tutorial and lecture was on Monday, I totally didn't know that my FMGT notes were missing until yesterday when I wanted to do my tutorials.

I searched high and low, everywhere in my bedroom but I couldn't find it.

So I suspected that it was in the music room because I left my music file there during Monday. I called for Sue Ying to rescue me to open the door and cupboards. However, when I got there, I still couldn't find it.

I still didn't give up hope and suspected it was somewhere in my house.

    So I searched again,

There it was; underneath my bed. I don't know how it went there.

Oh, and one more incident. I left my FMGT textbook in the toilet before going for lunch.
Then after I bought my corn cup, I thought to myself: why are my hands so empty?

I realised that my FMGT textbook was missing!

Thank goodness it was still in the toilet when I went back to look for it. I can't imagine if I lost both textbook and notes -.-" The textbook is borrowed from Lien Ying Chow library too; so I'll have to pay a fine if I lost it.

    What a lucky day!!

And before I forget, Happy Mother's Day? (Belated??)
As usual, we bought a cake again from a neighbourhood bakery and suprisingly, it tastes better than Bengawan Solo! Shall upload the picture next time...

    Bevenuto
    Saturday, May 10, 2008

Yesterday there was a free concert by Klavierensemble; Bevenuto.
It was quite a success la, judging from the people wanting to join the club although the crowd was much lesser than Celebrazione.

I'm awaiting the next concert at Esplanade Recital Studio! ROAR!

    Drink Yakult Today!
    Thursday, May 08, 2008
    Drink Yakult today!!

It comes in original flavour, grape, orange as well as apple flavour!
It's the only country which Yakult has produced flavours to cater the people here.
I used to love the orange flavour when I was very young. Then I liked apple.
Now I think original is the best :) Grape is always a favourite too :D

Singapore's yakult bottle is also the biggest among other 33 countries Yakult has produced. If I'm not wrong, it's about 100ml; whereas other countries are only 75ml. So think again if you think Singapore' yakults are not big enough!

So, you think a small bottle of Yakult costing 60cents is expensive?
Think again! It contains 10 million live good bacteria called lacto acid, which helps to increase your immune system and good for your digestive system!! It even helps to fight cancer cells.
This little probiotic drink does wonders and even tastes good!

Who wouldn't want to drink Yakult!!!
My family has been ordering since long time ago, they're still doing it now!

Ok, the main point is basically I went to the Yakult factory today organised by school of BA's CMA module. Each of us has a free yakult! :D

    Other products Yakult has produced.

    Other countries Yakult bottles.

    Yakult cosmestics! O_O

    "GOOD!"

    Sook Chen

    Me

    Everybody loves Yakult!

    Sook Chen and Celeste

I thought it was a fun and enriching trip :D
It has 1 CCA point, but of course we don't go just because of CCA point la!
There's no factory process photos because we aren't allowed to take :)

Ok, ciao! I'm so tired ._.

    Marvel comics
    Saturday, May 03, 2008
Anyone knows where to borrow/rent them?
I want to see spider man comics, iron man comics dated back long long ago!

Ironman movie is nice, but the theatre Sherwin and I went were damn freaking cold.
Try to bring a jacket along if you want to watch a movie at Suntec City. Seems like Eng Wah Theatres are always cold.

    Oh and,

9th May there will be a family concert by Klavierensemble at LT26, 6.30pm featuring the Mozart group. Do drop by if you're free. It's free admission :)
