Yesterday I met up with my three friends - Bridgitte, Yi Bei and Shu Yu because we wanted to see the fireworks in the night...

And we planned to watched UMIZARU 2 but Yi Bei said, "Huh why the sypnosis like so boring"...
Then I told her, "Ok lor, then we don't watch..."

But luckily, luckily yggg and the rest are watching it, so I may be catching the movie with them. Ha, for the sake of Yuna Ito's Precious theme song playing as the background music of the movie, and for the sake of charming Hideaki Ito and sweetie-pie Kato Ai.

So we went walking around Takashimaya and I saw some japanese magazines at Kinokuniya. The recent seventeen magazine which features Eikura Nana and some other seventeen models dressed like cheerleaders seemed to be prompting me: "BUY ME! BUY ME!". But I realised I only had $30 so I rather wait for next week to buy.

Then we went to Cineleisure Orchard for dinner. They suggested Kobayashi so I went with them. Not exactly delicious though, and the chawanmushi is pathetic. LOL! Later, we walked to Takashimaya again. (laughs)

    And for what?

For the legendary venezia ice-cream. I ordered belgium chocolate and mango. But too bad I couldn't finish it.

(Sorry no pictures although I did bring a digital camera with me yesterday! Bleah!

Okay, then we proceeded to the Esplanade. The place was filled with people. We decided to watch it at the farthest left but guess what? While walking, we were squeezed and stuck in the middle of the crowd. The situation was so chaotic, somewhat makes me think of those 5566 concert or Cyndi Wang's auto-session that I used to went two years ago.

And haiz, I'm kinda disappointed with some of the inconsiderate Singaporeans who pushed till we don't even have the slighest air to breathe. And some malay girls behind us were smoking! That's an inhuman thing to do when everybody is already suffocated by perspiring people around us. And the malay guys behind us kept pushing Shu Yu and me and we used our elbows to push them back. LOL! Some chinese girls beside us also helped us to scold the malay guys but they were repentant. One reason why I'm lazy to take out my digital camera because my hands can't even reach for them!

20 minutes before the fireworks started, a couple pushed in *again!* And that BIG-SIZED guy stepped on my poor toes! And my new shoes I've worn for 3 times only! I'm like "What the hell"!

Bridgitte lost us and even made 2 friends, haha. But we met up eventually.

But when the fireworks started, everyone was cheering and intrigued by the scene in front of us. They said Team Singapore wasn't as good as Team France (that's of course lah) and Team France had much more surprises. There were some huge fireworks which will make your mouth drop open and some fireworks which sparks seemed to drop in front of you. How fascinating is that! But for the fireworks, the pushing part seemed worth it.

We even said "Aiya, next time we booked a hotel and invite all our friends and relatives to watch inside."

As our legs were already tired from that afternoon's window-shopping as well as squeezing with all those people, we sat around at the Esplanade to wait for the crowd to vanish? Ha! So we began chatting and eating the chips we bought earlier on. When we left, it was around 10.30pm+? And there were still some live band around, and MANY MANY LITTER AROUND.

The amount of litter littered was amazing haha. Everywhere you walk you see litter, the view became not like Singapore for one moment, it became like some third-world country, LOL! But it's kinda interesting since you don't get to see these in Singapore often XD

Okay, so I accompanied Yi Bei to sit the red line and when I reached Bukit Batok, it was already 12plus. My parents brought me home since there were no buses already. And they waited since 11plus already as before that they went to fetch my nieces home! But they went to drink kopi and eat bao at the nearby coffeeshop haha.

When I reached home, I was already dead beat. Then my parents kept asking me questions about the fireworks and I'm like a little bit annoyed because I'm already very tired. So after bathing and hanging online for a few ten minutes, I lay on the bed and slept all the way till 11.30am today.

    How nice is it, har?
