I suck at doing screencaps and I'm lazy to do so I rather see Miki's screeencaps or yggg's screencaps of dramas....

Anyway, my 2nd entry of the day. It suddenly occured to me while I was discussing these with my friend and also my maths tutor just now.

1)My school system goes like this - You have to obtain an exit pass to go to the toilet.

Normally we use about 5 minutes or more to go to the toilet, do your whatever thing, and walk back right? So why can't we use these 5 minutes to do things we like? Like buy a drink? Or sit down to rest? Weird isn't it??? Sometimes we even waste time in the toilet, so why must this exit pass be condemned to JUST GO FOR TOILET? And I'm even curious why nobody had pointed this out before....

2)My maths tutor said "Sunlight makes you energised because somehow, sunlight kinda kill all those cells which makes you tired."

Me: Then how come sometimes when it's real sunny, I feel tired at home?
Cindy (my maths tutor): It's a different case when you're in a cool environment and when it's sunny outside.....
    Me: Ohhh...
Cindy: So next time when you feel tired, go out and stand in the sun for 5 minutes....
Me: But why sometimes when we're suntanning we feel tired?
Cindy: No, where got? You got see people suntanning sleeping meh? Unless they got cover something with them like towel...
    Me: Have lor...

In the end I don't know if she's right or not...

And then to link back to 1), I was telling Cassie this:

Me: Let's try one out one day in class, during english period (english period is the most sian period out of all classes)
    Cassie: I don't want...
Me: Lol, so fun... When the teacher see us, I say I'm recharging myself...
Cassie: Crap la, later they say we skipping class then suspend us
Me: Then I'll ask, why exit pass can only go toilet. You see, if we go out and do things for 5mins, isnt it the same time we use to go toilet?

    Hor? Makes sense isn't it?

    3)How do characters come about???

We all know it came from ancient drawings like they drew the sun and it evolved all that. But what about expressions like love? Think of the chinese character "Ai".... why is there a "you" at the bottom (as in peng you's you)... Does it mean love initially started by friends?

4)Why can't blushers be blue? green? Why must it be only pink? (This is quoted from Takahashi Ai in Morning Musume, in a show called "Futarigoto")

Okay, for anybody who doesn't know what a blusher is. A blusher is used to apply on your cheeks to make you look more radiant.... So, if eyeshadows can be blue or green, why can't cheeks be blue or green? If the ancient people use blue or green blushes, does it mean that the people now will use those colours as blushes? I doubt they sell blue or green blushes in the market. Or even other weird colours. But why eyeshadows can (Okay, eye shadow is applied above your eyelid)... Even mascaras now have colours like green or blue, but why not blushers? Why is it okay to put black eyeliner below your eye but it is weird to put colours like blue, green or even red below your eye?

If ancient people initially used those, will the present us be using those too? But I agree if we use those colours, we will look weird. So, the anicent people have fashion sense too. But what if they really used those colours in the past? Then we won't think it's weird now already...?

    5)Ancient people's fashion...

Why do the ancient people (or rather our ancestors from China), always wear those clothes which wrapped them up like sushi roll. And with thick clothings? Look at how bright and hot the sun is, and they're wearing like that. If I lived in the past, I probably had died 10 years earlier. They don't even get to bathe everyday!!! They even had to do their hair with those plaids and blah blah blah kind of hairstyle every morning.

Wouldn't it be tiring? And why won't they have pimples if they put make-up every morning, wearing those silky but thick clothings out in the sun?? What if their period came and their hormones increased? Do they have menstrual cramps? more pimples? They're really pityful since ancient ladies don't get a say in anything and have to see their husband's face when they come back from work... They don't even have make-up remover last time (so do they wash their face every-day?)

Speaking about periods, what do they used to stop the bleeding before sanitary napkins were invented or even tissues? Leaves? Would that stop? Tampons-like-thingy? Like what?

I can't really think of living in the past, ha.

That's 5 things for you to think for the day (bleah)
